Independent inspections. Clear reports. Less downtime.
When you run cranes across the United States, you deal with a lot more than lift plans and schedules. You deal with different site rules, changing crews, tight shutdown windows, and weather that can swing from coastal wind to mountain cold to desert heat. All of it affects wear, maintenance timing, and what an inspector needs to look at. Marquis Crane Services provides independent third-party crane inspection and certification support nationwide, so you can keep equipment safe, compliant, and ready to work wherever the next job takes you.
We’re headquartered in Southern Maine, but our work is built for national operations, contractors, ports, shipyards, and fleets that move. From annual inspections to post-assembly, post-repair, and post-modification inspections for mobile and tower cranes, we focus on the details that protect your people and your schedule. We also provide third-party Assembly/Disassembly Director services for crawler and large hydraulic cranes with luffing attachments, plus rigging inspection and certification to keep your lifting gear records clean and current.
Downtime costs real money, and paperwork can turn into a mess fast when you’ve got multiple cranes, multiple job sites, and multiple stakeholders asking for documentation. Our team uses comprehensive inspection software that lets us generate and email reports from the job site, with cloud-based access to help simplify record-keeping. That means fewer follow-up calls, fewer missing files, and faster closeout for safety teams and project managers.
Clients tell us the difference is the consistency. As Chet Chludenski shared in a 5-star Google review: “They’re knowledgeable, reliable, and extremely thorough with every inspection. Communication is always clear, and they go out of their way to make sure everything is compliant and safe… it’s a relief knowing our equipment is in good hands.” That’s exactly how we aim to show up, whether you’re running a single crane or managing a fleet across state lines.
